Belated Post- from New Hampshire’s Mountaintops

I was visiting New Hampshire to see a long time friend who was in the U.S. from Norway (Annie). We decided to go on a hike because my dad had told me that there would be a bird watch at the top. There was a road to the top but we walked (driving is cheating). When we made it to the top we visited the observatory tower and the parking lot. we didn’t know there was a path to a whole different section with a lookout and everything; I was told later.

I called my friend Eric so I could introduce Annie and him- we decided to hike the hill behind his house which is known as a place with a great view. I took some pictures up there too. Soon to be updated!

I haven’t had my hard drive since this visit- about two weeks- which was killing me because not having it bogs down my work flow. I also didn’t have the pictures I took. I found it the other day and will be updating this with my newest content now.

Thanks for visiting- Let me know what you think! =)

The true test- My first photo contest

I’ll be entering three of the following images into a photography contest. This will be my first entrance into one. If I win I get $2,000 and a Nikon D90! If I lose…Well that’s not gonna happen. No matter what this is a win, I get recognition and experience in contests. Please let me know what your favorites are and enjoy!

Let me know which ones you think are winners! and wish me luck- I don’t own my own camera yet, it would be more convenient if I did. Thanks =)

Test time, so no time

Just a few more pictures of wildlife. I have a new aim though–photographing the wild side of humanity, our urban centers. I’ll still shoot photos of wildlife, can’t get enough of that, but I’m going to work on diversifying my work.

I shot these photos with a Nikon D70s with a 18-70 mm lens. I practically stepped on this bird while I was running to meet a professor so I could make up a quiz. It was just walking along the ground, I think it may have had a hurt wing. I took some photos up close and personal before rushing off again.
